 Since 1987, I have been an orthodontics assistant at this Summerville office. I enjoy my job and get a kick spending time with the patients as well as helping them create a wonderful smile. I feel blessed to have helped so many people. It is so rewarding to watch them come into the office not smiling and leave not being able to get a smile off of their face! When I am not at work, I enjoy anything crafty. My heart is in spending time with my husband Joe, daughters Sarah, Julie, Patti, and granddaughters Caiti and Ely.

 Hi! My name is Laura. As the Financial Administrator at Swasty Orthodontics I take care of the financial and insurance needs of our patients. I'm happy to share my many years of experience and to be part of this prestigious and state of the art practice.
Outside the office my life is very busy. I enjoy spending time with my husband, Terry, and our two daughters Sara, a student at the Charleston School of Law; Lauren, an Ashley Ridge High School student, and our four-year-old grandson, Bradley. Most of my time is spent boating or golfing. Most importantly, I love Steelers football!
I feel very fortunate to be a part of creating beautiful smiles, changing lives and working for the best orthodontist in town.

 Hi! My name is Mendi and I have been a Certified Orthodontic Assistant for 15 years. Before graduating from Trident Technical College's Dental Assisting Program, I graduated from Summerville High School. I am honored to be part of the Swasty Orthodontic Team! I love what I do and I strive to make our patients laugh while they are here and to have them leave with a genuine smile on their face. When I'm not at work, I am either shopping, shopping, shopping or spending time with my hubby, Philip and our children Peyton and Hallie. I look forward to getting to know you and welcoming you into our patient family!

 Hi I am Becky, a clinical assistant with over 10 years of experience. I am happy to part of a great team that helps people acquire their best smiles possible. When I'm not in the office you can find me training for my next marathon, swimming with my girls, or working on a craft project. My husband Mike, daughters Lexxie and Bridgette, and I love to visit my favorite place, Disney World.

 This mommy of two toddlers heads up the marketing at Swasty Orthodontics. I have 12 years experience in marketing and my passions are writing and lately, social media domination. I enjoy working with the Swasty family and helping spread the word all over the Lowcountry that this is the only place in town to get Ortho treatment and not only walk out with a lovely smile, but have that smile be genuine because you just had a really great time! In my fleeting spare time, I enjoy watching movies, running, cooking, going out to eat with my girlfriends, and after my kiddos go to bed you can often find me relaxing to some jazz. Along with my husband Zac, our sons Luke and Zealand, and I are excited to make the Charleston area home sweet home!

 Hi! My name is Casey Mercer. I have lived in Summerville my whole life. In 2007, I graduated from Summerville High School and in 2011 I graduated from Trident Technical College with an Associate in Arts degree. I am so happy to
be a member of the Swasty Orthodontics team. I really enjoy working at the front desk and greeting the patients and their families as they come through our door. I always try to make sure that each patient and their parent's leave with a smile on their face! In my spare time, I enjoy playing with my Labrador retriever, Honey, and spending time with my family and friends. My boyfriend Collin lives in Atlanta so some weekends Honey and I travel there to get a mini vacation.

 My name is Katy. I was born and raised in Moncks Corner. I really love greeting every person that comes through our door, they are all part of our orthodontics family. My favorite part of my job is watching patients grow throughout treatment and seeing the beautiful final result. I enjoy spending time boating the marsh with friends and family, and spending quality time in my new house with my fiancé Sheldon.
